I'm a medical practitioner living on the glorious mid north coast of New South Wales, in Australia. I love the nearby beaches and spending quiet, peaceful time with my partner on her forest farm. I was unwell in 2009 and was loaned a harp during my time off work. Even before I was fully recovered I had travelled to purchase my first harp. I've loved learning harp ever since (and am doing the 3rd grade Australian Music Education Board exams). I have a varied background (including training and working as a lawyer and also as a counsellor before I settled into medical practice). I have studied Hakomi (body centred psychotherapy). I'm interested in what healing means within the context of medicine. I have meditated in a Vipassana tradition since 1990.
