Hi all, it was great to hear your voices on the conference call today. For those Australians who want to be linked up with the newly formed Australian harp therapy group, I just wanted to give you my email address. It is:

    agnodice@bigpond.com

The World Harp Congress was held in Australia this July. There was a harp therapy stream. When we were going our separate ways, some of us wanted to stay in touch. In order to do this, we have set up a Facebook page called “The Australian Therapeutic Harp Alliance” and also an e-group to ensure that those who are not on Facebook can stay in touch with the group. If you would like to be invited to this, please contact me.

Christina asked about Agnodice. When I was registering my first computer, every permutation of “Carol Booth” had already been taken. I thought, “No-one will have used Agnodice”. More information about this wonderful and courageous woman doctor from ancient greek times can be found at http://www.historyandwomen.com/2009/03/agnodice-first-woman-gynecologist.html and
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Agnodice

I’m looking forward to getting to know you all more on our harp journey together.

I’m excited, I think I was just able to upload a photo via Gravatar!

Hi Christina and all, if we are on this site is it still necessary to “confirm your interest” ; I received an email saying that this needed to be done, but when I click on the link it does not open.

Also, is anyone else having difficulty uploading a photo?

I’m sure these are just teething problems, and may well be from my end.

Hi all, I’m Carol. I live on the mid north coast of New South Wales (Australia). I am a medical practitioner with a varied background and met my first harp in 2009. I’ve been excited to start looking at the Harp Therapy Program and opening the resources today. I’ve also (unsuccessfully) been trying to upload a photo.
It will be great to “meet” you all through this forum.
